The Proofessional is the brain child of Vincent Crampton, an educator, writer and publisher who has embarked on a personal mission to provide the world with great writing. His expertise has been honed by over two decades of teaching, editing and writing for various corporate, educational and entertainment outlets.

Education: Masters of English, UCF

Experience in education: Vincent taught creative writing, grammar, reading, writing and speech to students at many institutions of higher learning including Full Sail University, Valencia College, University of Central Florida (the nation's second largest university), and Fifth's English School in Japan. He also worked as a writing consultant at UCF's writing lab and Valencia College's writing and computer lab.

Experience in online media and journalism: Vincent used his expertise as an online editor and writer for Tribune's Web product, Orlando CityBeat. During his employment, the site garnered two EPpy awards for design and content, the highest online award a Website can achieve. He also worked as an online editor for OrlandoSentinel.com and MetroMix. He recently wrote a series of articles for the Sentinel called The Universal Soldier.


Experience in writing/publishing: Vincent is an experienced freelance copywriter, creative writer, journalist, and editor. He started his career in publishing as a text-book editor for Harcourt. He was also part owner and Managing Editor of Town Hall Crier of Winter Garden, a high-quality magazine that focused on local history, growth and community. He ran Smart Fella Press, an Orlando-based publishing company. He is a freelance journalist and fiction writer. He also runs the micro-fiction journal ScrawlBrawl.com.
